In her 80th year, passed into her Saviour's loving care on Christmas day, December 25, 2009. Brenda was a devout Anglican all of her life and attended The Church of Our Saviour, The Redeemer on Lake Avenue in Stoney Creek, Ontario. She leaves her son, David and grandchildren Amanda, Adam, Andrew, Jessica and Marie Ann. Brenda was predeceased by her husband Frank after 50 years of marriage. Her dearly loved father Benjamin Booth Sr., her brother Benjamin Booth Jr., daughter Barbara Lyn and Brian (David's twin). Brenda never recovered from Brian's passing in 2007. Brenda also leaves behind her dearly loved extended family.JoJo Cino (David Hill) was her 'other unofficial adopted daughter'. Andrea (Patrick) her princess and Philip (Katie) her prince. She also leaves her great-grandchildren Walker, Annabelle and George Cooper who were the light of her life. Brenda and Frank opened their home to over 20 foster children over the years. Their door was always open to a child in need. Holidays were spent at their trailer where many memories were made and remembered. Brenda and Frank sailed to Canada on the Queen Mary in 1954. The trip thrilled them both! Brenda was a baker and confectioner having studied many years. Her cakes were well received and in high demand. Many friends cared deeply for Brenda. Ruth and Rob, Marg and Pat, Reverend Audrey and Bruce, Alex and Freddie, Linda and Gary, Judy, Debbie, Merry and John will remember Brenda for her caring and love of life. In lieu of flowers, Brenda has requested that you please help a child in need, or visit an elder couple. Love your neighbour as you love yourself. A Remembrance Service will be held in the spring. Date and time will be announced at a later date. "Remembering always love in the heart isn't put there to stay. Love isn't fulfilled until it is given away." Brenda truly shared her love with everyone.
