On November 11, 2022, Brenda Margaret Brand passed away peacefully at her home with her loving husband Allan by her side. This past July, Mom and Dad celebrated their 65 ^th wedding anniversary with all of their children in attendance.

Brenda was born June 17, 1937 in Penrith, England. She was the daughter of Margaret and Horace Aston and had two older brothers the late Brian (Shirley) and Derek. Her parents instilled in her a love of gardening and interior design that she carried throughout her life. Her Grandparents played an important role in her early years as her parents were both involved in the war effort. After the war, at the age of 12, she immigrated to Canada with her parents.

By 16, she had met the love of her life Allan. Her pride and joy were her five daughters. Catherine (Ben), Susan (Cameron), Jaqueline (Mark), Allison (Mario) and Elizabeth (Gord). Her grandchildren Amanda (Antonio), Jason (Ayla), Brittany (Anthony), Christian (Nicole), Jacqueline (Max), Taylor, Cameron, Madeline, Spenser, and Taryn. Her great grandchildren Evelyn, Maggie, Daisy, Nathan and soon to arrive Sofia.

The Brand family home on Creekwood Dr. was the site of many parties as Mom loved to entertain. Our lives were filled with family, friends, endless stories and plenty of laughter. Mom was the heart of it all. Thank you Mom for everything you have instilled in us, we will carry your memory on forever.  We love and miss you.

Visitation will take place at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home 64 Lakeshore Rd W. Oakville, Thursday November 17 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 2:00 pm.
