It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Blaise Edmund Wiseman Rodden, age 62, on Saturday March 28, 2026, following a recent surgery. Much loved brother of Robin Hallam (Greg), Rena Cornelius (Bruce), and Sean Rodden. Cherished uncle of Rebecca Campbell (Matt),Brian Hallam (Lindsay), Katherine Renaud (Tyler), James Cornelius (Emily), Christina Cornelius, Chelsey Moody, Chantal Moody, and Chad Moody. Survived by cherished aunts and uncles. Predeceased by his long term and very much loved partner Liane Kennedy, and parents Marie Rodden (née Wiseman) and Bernard Edmund Rodden. Blaise was a lifelong resident in Oakville, spending many years at Prince Charles Place, where he had a strong community of friends that he highly valued and appreciated. Blaise’s kindness, intelligence, and wonderful sense of humour will be greatly missed. 

A celebration of life will take place at 484 Kerr Street, (Lambert Community Room) Lower Level, Oakville, Thursday April 16th, 2026, 2:00 pm-4:00pm. 

In memory of Blaise Rodden, donations may be made to Front Line Outreach. Funds received will be used towards a memorial garden/bench and plaque at Prince Charles Place.
