Peacefully, on Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, in his 78th year. Bill, beloved husband of Joan (Harris). Loved father of Vickie, Bruce and his wife June. Dear grandfather of Rob, Lindsay, Greg, Graham and the late April. Bill is survived by his brother Douglas and his wife Blanche. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Kopriva Chapel 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Special thanks to the health care staff at Credit Valley Hospital Oncology Department and the staff of 4 East at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
