Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all those who's lives she touched. On May 24, 2021, Betty was peacefully reunited with her beloved husband Terry (2010). Much loved mother of Peter (Wanda), Phil (Ala) and Jeffrey (Ann). Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to all of the many children. Betty is survived by her brother Jack Housden and sister Esther Farley. She will be deeply missed by all of her nieces, nephews and friends. Betty and Terry emigrated to Canada from England in the 1950's where they settled in Oakville and began to build their life. Betty was involved in many organizations and community life. She loved to write, and published a novel titled, "Jessica" which was a story about her life in England during WW2. Betty lived a full life full of love and passion. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
