With great sadness, the family announces that Betsy passed away peacefully at her home in Oakville. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew and her younger brother Bill Johnston and is survived by her sister Jessie McKernan. Mummy will be greatly missed by her daughters Eileen (Larry Trimble) and Clare (Richard Furlong). Cherished Grandma to Andrew Trimble (Amy), Erin Loder(Troy) and Alexandra Furlong. Doting GeeGee to Matthew, Meghan, Andrew and Lindsay. A private family service was held Thursday, May 28, 2009. In remembrance of Betsy, donations may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
