Beryl Jones passed away peacefully on August 22, 2023 at the age of 90 at The Kensington in Oakville, Ontario.

Devoted wife of Gordon Jones (predeceased) and loving mother of Helen (Jim), Douglas (Lisa), and Ian (Karen).  Loving Grandmother of Teresa (Steven), Cheryl (Curtis), Erin (Ryan), Michael (Catalina), and Monique (Taylor). Thrilled great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren.

Born in Hednesford, England in 1932, Beryl graduated as a Registered Sick Children's nurse in Birmingham and later received an Early Childhood Education degree from Sheridan College in Oakville. In addition to her work with children outside of the house she was a dedicated mother to her own three children.

Beryl greatly enjoyed travelling with Gordon and the two spent some wonderful winters in Victoria, BC.  She was an avid hiker, completing the Bruce Trail twice.  Knitting and quilting were life-long skills – she enjoyed making keepsakes for her family.  Classical orchestra music could always be heard playing in her home. She had a passion for gardening and loved to play bridge with her friends. Beryl would often be found penning notes and proudly sending family photos to her lifelong friends from her school days in Birmingham.

Beryl was a member of St. Jude's Anglican Church and enjoyed many hours helping with their beautiful garden and rummage/plant sales.
