Passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2011 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. Bernice was a wonderful wife of the late William McAuliffe for 58 years. She was the loving mother of Judy and her husband Chuck Girard. She was the most caring, unselfish, supportive, fun loving grandmother "Meme" of Brett and Monique. Her positive attitude and gracious smile will be missed by her sister-in-laws Catherine Lavery and Ellen McEwan, her wonderful nieces and nephews and all other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of 4E OTMH, especially Dr. John Holmes and Dr. Jefferies for their care and support. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road W., Oakville, from 7-9 pm on Monday, January 2nd, 2012 with a Funeral Mass at 2pm on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville.
