On October 6, Rick passed away peacefully in his sleep. He will be sadly missed by his wife Helen, their three children, Janet Burt (Tony), John Hepburn (Jane), Rob Hepburn (Irene); 8 grandchildren, Graeme Burt (Catherine
Porter), Hilary Burt (Peter Bove); Jonny, Jamie, Chris, Matt Hepburn; and Thomas, Rick Hepburn; 3 great grandchildren, Lyla, Noah Burt; Wyatt Bove. A private family funeral service took place Friday, October 9, 2009 at St. Jude's Church in Oakville. Many thanks to all the staff at Churchill Place for the wonderful care of Rick in the past 4 weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the B.
