Suddenly, on the morning of Monday December 31st, 2018 Benjamin Richard Laird passed from this earthly life to eternal life with God His Creator in heaven due to complications from cancer.
He was born February 25th, 1958 to Margaret Anna Laird (nee Holland) (1932-1986) and Terence John Laird (1927-2011).

Ben is survived by his wife Susan Karen Laird (nee Ford) and daughters Kathleen Margaret Laird and Rachel Christina Laird.
3 brothers; Tom, Bob and Dan, their wives, nephew and nieces, two aunts and an uncle as well as many Ford family members.
Ben loved gardening, home fashions, colour, being a snappy dresser, singing, making pies, and quality time with his girls. This past summer he realized a lifelong dream when he and Susan went on a train tour through Switzerland.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held at Evangel Pentecostal Church, Oakville ON, Saturday January 26th at 2:00pm, social to follow.
