Peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Brantford General Hospital in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Bonnie Reid. Dear father of Sandra Garcia, Darrell (Monica), Terri (Shane) Reid. Brother of Judy Tapley and Audrey Reid. Special friend of Margaret Booth. Loving poppa of Jody and Danny Garcia; Caitlin, Alea, Connor Reid and Alannah Martin; Liam and Ethan Reid. Visitation will be held, at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 7-9 pm Friday, February 10, 2012. Funeral Mass 1 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at St. James Parish, 231 Morden Road, Oakville. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Parkinson Society Canada or Canadian Cancer Society. A special thanks to the nursing staff of C7 Palliative Care Unit of Brantford General Hospital, especially Kayla and Elizabeth, Dr. Trevor and Dr. B. Lee.
