Barbara Beale, aged 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and prayer on July 10, 2024.

Born on June 10th, 1935 in Madras, India, Barbara lived a full and vibrant life. Crossing continents her faith, hard-work and dedication led to a life well lived, and heart full of love. She was the loving wife of Patrick Beale, who predeceased her by 7 years. Together they raised their children Kenneth Beale and Penelope Hurst, and then went on to help raise grandchildren Chantal and Johann Hurst.

Barbara was first and foremost a woman of faith, and was an inspiration to all who had the opportunity to know and love her. A lifelong Catholic, Barbara Beale attended mass most days of her life, where you could often find her in a fabulous hat, leading the rosary. When asked for advice it would only be to "go to church". Over her life she has been a member of many parishes, and will be deeply missed.

She took great pride in caring for her family and will be remembered for her faith, her love, her wit and her positivity. She was an exceptional cook, every family member knew that on a visit to her home you would always be welcomed with a delicious home cooked meal and a chat sure to cheer. In her younger years as a teacher that attentive, and diligent care was extended to her students, her impact was vast.

Barbara is survived by her children Kenneth Beale (Andrea Beale), and Penelope Hurst (Christopher Hurst), her grandchildren Chantal Huff (Alexander Huff), and Johann Hurst (Bridget Hurst), and her great-grandchild William Hurst.
