After a courageous battle with frontal temporal dementia and cancer, Azniv passed away peacefully, in her 65th year, at Ian Anderson House on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, with her family at her side. Azniv will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of forty-one years, Frank; her mother Florence Cook and brother Ian Cook, both of Kent, England; her children Carina Lochan-Romano and Amanda MacGregor and their husbands Maurizio and Allan; all her in-laws: Ivan and Nora Lochan (Burlington), Carlyle and Lana Lochan (Kingston), John and Carol Patenaude (Stoney Creek); her nieces Jacqueline Patenaude and Stacy Lochan and nephew Andrew Lochan. Predeceased by her father Arthur Cook. Azniv will be fondly remembered for her determination, enthusiasm, creativity, humour and community spirit. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday November 26, 2009. Funeral service 1:00 pm Friday November 27, 2009 in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. Cremation.
