On January 21, 2011 in Oakville, Ontario in the loving company of her sons James and John. Pat was a devoted wife to her husband Rodger (departed) and mother to James and his wife Colette and John and his wife Denice. Daughter of William and Gertrude Batchelor; predeceased by her brother Thomas John Batchelor; grand-mother to Alexandra and Brooke, and loving aunt to Bruce, Stuart, Robert, Patrick, Brooke, Amanda and Anthony. Pat was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 24, 1926. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1948 and worked as a dietician in Montreal and Toronto, and married Rodger in 1952. From 1964-1971, Rodger`s work with Ferro Enamels took their family to India. Patricia was active in the University Women's Club and local libraries throughout her life. Pat and Rodger retired to Long Point, Ontario and she returned to live in Oakville after Rodger's death. Pat's kindness and generosity will be missed. The family is grateful to all who helped with calls and visits during the last 4 months. We will all remember her lively and generous spirit. A funeral will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (One block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) Oakville on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 1:00 P.M.
