Toon passed away peacefully on November 5, 2017. He was 89 years old. He will be missed by his wife Elizabeth of 60 years, his children Joanne, Tony (Luanne) Nick (Brenda) Elly (Walter) Sharon (Paul) and Kelly. He is fondly remembered by his Grandchildren Justin (Marlena), Caitlyn (Ben), Lucaas (Kendra), Blake, Shane, Troy and Taeya.  Predeceased by his grandson Jacob. He will be missed by his greatgrandchildren Lila and Elias.  Toon is predeceased by his sister Mein and his brother Wim. He will be missed by his sister Ria (Ben), and his brothers Ben and Adrian (Tonni). His sister in law Leny and Annie, and his brother in law Nick (Gertie) and a great many nieces and nephews here in Canada as well as New Zealand and Holland.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 a.m on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville.
