It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Davies this past Monday at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after a brief but valiant struggle with cancer.

Tony was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara, with whom he shared 57 years of love and adventure. He will be greatly missed by his two sons, Andrew and Antony, granddaughters Lauren (Brett) and Naomi, daughter-in-laws Marsha and Lisa.

A trained chemist, Tony immigrated from Wallasey, England, at the age of 30 to assume leadership roles at Alcan in Quebec and later Linde in Ontario. A longtime resident of Burlington, Tony eventually moved to Bronte to enjoy a productive retirement filled with golf, volunteer service, and cherished time with family and friends. In his last years, Tony forged many new friendships at the Kensington retirement home in Oakville. A selfless man who lived his life with extraordinary dignity and purpose, Tony will be remembered fondly by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home following a private celebration of life.
