Surrounded by the love of family and friends Anne passed away on Wednesday, August 31 2022.
Anne lovingly joins her predeceased husband Stephen McMahon.
She is greatly missed by her daughters Sonya Benson (Abe) and Kathy Gannon (Shane) and her step children Mike McMahon (Janet) and Lorraine Apanashk (John), Anne will also be missed by her grandchildren James, Natalie, Maisie, Madeline, Nathan, Emily and Logan.
Anne was the daughter of the late Graham and Margaret Campbell and will be fondly remembered by her siblings Neil and Beth, and her nephew Ian and niece Catherine.
Anne was born and raised in Toronto, spent some time in Waterloo, then settled in Oakville. She had a great career in commercial design where she designed complex office spaces all over Canada.
Anne loved to travel, especially to Nassau Bahamas, where she and Steve had a beach home for many years.
To say Anne had many friends is an understatement. She kept friendships with her childhood friends and would seem to meet new friends all the time. She loved meeting up for lunch or dinner dates weekly. Anne was greatly loved by everyone. The amount of love and support around Anne in her final days was truly a blessing.
A celebration of life for Anne's memory is being planned and will be announced shortly.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at the Ian Anderson House who took such great care of Anne in her final weeks.
In lieu of flowers, a generous donation to
Ian Anderson house
would be greatly appreciated by family.
