Born, Annie McComb Gerrard, on April 6th ,1930 in Stevenston, Ayrshire, on the West Coast of Scotland, to loving parents James and Elizabeth Gerrard.
As a young woman Anne was an athlete. She was on the Stevenston track and field team. She was a sprinter and ran competitively for her town. She also played competitively on the town Field Hockey team.
She married Alexander Greig Feb.06 1954 and immigrated to Canada in 1957.
.Her first job was with the Bank of Montreal in Long Branch, Ontario. She continued to work as a bookkeeper for Armalite Canada and then worked for Compair Canada for several years until she retired.
After 25 years in Mississauga she and Alex moved to Bronte Ontario, where they spent many happy years of retirement. They bought a boat and sailed out of Bronte Harbour Yacht Club.
Anne was a dedicated member of the congregation at Evangel Pentecostal Church. She loved her church and the friends that she made there.
Anne was the most loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother, adored by her family. We were all so blessed to have had such a beautiful soul, love and inspire us. She will be forever loved and forever missed.
