Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, microbiologist and professor Anna Moskovtseva, known to friends and family as Galina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15 after a long illness. Born in Somkova Dolina, Ukraine, she faced life's challenges with perseverance and resilience, building a remarkable legacy through her dedication to education, hard work, and an unyielding will for life. Her journey was defined by an enduring love—for her students, her friends and colleagues, and above all, her cherished family. Pre-deceased by her husband of 65 years, Ivan Moskovtsev, she is survived by her son Sergey, granddaughters Daria and Sophia, and son-in-law Michael.

Visitation for close friends and family at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville,  November 19, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. followed by memorial service at noon.

Burial and graveside memorial will take place at St Volodymyr's at 1:00 p.m.
