On Sunday December 18, 2011, passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. Born, November 16, 1930 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 1954, she emigrated to Canada, on her honeymoon with her new husband Peter, and there they created a life for themselves. Married 57 years, she will be greatly missed by Peter and her children, Margaret, Robert, Frank (Carol), and Annette (Ken). Also remembered by her grandchildren Bryan (April), Jennifer (Kris), Christopher, Gregory, Christina, Daniel, Brianna, Geoffrey and Kyra. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva-Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday December 21, 2011. Funeral Mass 11:00am Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. James Parish, 231 Morden Road, Oakville. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens, Burlington. Rest well, Mom. You fought a long, hard one. We will miss you.
