Sadly we announce the passing of Anna Bastasic on Saturday, July 21, quickly and peacefully. Anna was born in Zumberak Croatia in 1921 and with her family migrated to Canada in 1938. Anna was a cornerstone of the Bastasic family. She was a hard worker, a reliable pillar and a person that could always be relied upon by everybody who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all. Survived by her loving brother John, brother Mike, nephews Paul, John, Richard and niece Nada. Great nephew and niece Cory and Jennifer as well as countless relatives throughout Croatia, Canada and the United States. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday. Funeral Mass 10 am Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road Oakville. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
