IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anita Louise
Flaherty (Nee Wilson)
July 3, 1942 – June 20, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Anita, a cherished mother and devoted wife who touched the lives of all those around her. She departed this world on June 20, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
Born and raised in the city of Vancouver, Anita grew up with a heart full of kindness and a passion for caring for others. Her nurturing spirit led her to pursue a career in nursing, where she selflessly served her community, bringing comfort and healing to countless lives.
It was during her time in the north B.C. that she met husband, Brian. In Vancouver, they were blessed with the arrival of their first two children.
Later, Anita and her family relocated to Oakville, where two more children joined their family. With her nurturing presence and unwavering dedication, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Anita dedicated herself to her children's well-being and instilled in them the values that would guide them throughout their lives.
In addition to her role as a nurse and a mother, Anita possessed a vibrant and compassionate spirit that radiated in every aspect of her life. She was a beloved friend, a trusted confidante, and a beacon of light for those who sought solace and guidance.
Anita's impact on our lives is immeasurable, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. While we mourn her physical absence, we take solace in the beautiful memories she leaves behind and the lasting legacy of love she built.
Anita is survived by her loving husband, Brian, Three of her four children, (pre-deceased by her son Richard) two grandchildren and a host of family members and dear friends who will carry her memory with them always.
May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
