Angelina Soares of Oakville, passed away on July 21st 2022, only hours after her 85th birthday. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by Gil, her loving Husband of 68 years. She leaves behind her 6 children: Rita, Manuel, Lucindo, Anna, Joe and Maria. She cherished her beloved grandchildren: Nelson, Daniel, Kevin, Rick, Ryan, Amy, Julia, Alex, Joseph, Lindsay, Cassandra, Colin, Angela, Rachel and David, along with 15 great grandchildren.

Angelina was born in Porto Formoso, São Miguel, Portugal in 1937. She moved to Canada in 1974 where Angelina had continued to devote her life to caring for her family and to prayer. Angelina was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and church community.

Angelina was a wonderful daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

Visitation will take place July 27, 2022 from 9:00am – 11:00am at Kopriva Taylor community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W., Oakville. Funeral Mass to follow at St Joseph's Portuguese Roman Catholic Church at 12:00pm with burial at Glen Oaks Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church for family and friends.
