Andrew Welsh was born in Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland in 1929 and arrived in Canada in 1956.

Andy was a man of immense talents and diverse interests. He enjoyed classical music, literature, art, travel and a fine single malt. An extremely gifted artist. Always active, an avid runner, cyclist and tennis player.

Determination and persistence carried him far in his professional, athletic and cultural pursuits. He approached life with remarkable curiosity, was hard working, generous and above all, kind.

He was predeceased by his wife and the love of his life, Barbara Hannam. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Melissa, and his granddaughter, Claire.
