Andrew passed away peacefully in his 84th year surrounded by family and caring staff at Post Inn Village Long Term Care in Oakville. Predeceased by his brother Bill and wife Mary of Hamilton, he will be sadly missed by his son John and wife Marie, daughter Anne Starkes, grandchildren Lesley, Stephen and Cory, wife Tania, relatives and friends. Our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Post Inn Village who took such wonderful care of him. Visitation will take place Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2 -4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Panakhyda at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 300 River Oaks Blvd. East, Oakville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 followed by interment at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, 1280 Dundas West, Oakville with a reception to follow at the adjacent banquet hall.
