"Andy" passed Monday June 10, 2024 at Creekway Village Long Term Care, Burlington where he resided under the amazing care of the staff there since September 20, 2022.

The eldest child born November 23, 1950 to Bronte resident Phillip (Phil) Edward (Ted) Gilbert, deceased Nov 4, 1986 and Sadie Katherine Gilbert, deceased January 31, 2006.  Andy is also predeceased by younger brother Arthur (Art) Gilbert, September 12, 2024.  He is survived by sisters Barbara Chapman (Rick), Janet Wood (Bruce) and Cindy Buchanan (the late Ron).  Andy will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Sunday July 7, 2024 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, (one block East of Kerr Street) from 1 pm – 4 pm.

Andy's cremated remains will be laid to rest with his mother and father at St. Jude's Cemetery on Monday July 8th, during a private family service.
