It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrena Rodger beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Andrena passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023 after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland January 13, 1944, Andrena moved to Canada in 1969 where she spent most of her time in Oakville before retiring to Grimsby.  Her last few years were spent back in Oakville at Northridge Long Term Care home.  Andrena's love for Scotland and Scottish dancing stayed with her until the very end.  She truly enjoyed the outdoors, travelling and even took on Dragon boat racing in her retirement to commemorate winning her courageous battle with breast cancer.

She is survived by her son Michael (Natasha) and grandson Zachary, son David and family of Dublin, Ireland.  Her brother David (Julie) McKinlay and family of Sale Australia, Pre-deceased by her sister Agnus Anne (Leslie) Steane and family of England.  She will also be remembered by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends especially lifelong friends Linda & Bill.

Michael, Natasha and Zachary would like to send a special thank you to the amazing staff at Northridge Long Term Care Home who laughed and danced with her until the end.

Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville ( on block East of Kerr Street) on Friday December 29, 2023 from 2 pm – 4 pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4 pm.
