It Is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved cousin Andrea Catherine Magee.

Only Daughter of the late Dorothy and Samuel Magee she was born in Montreal December 20th 1957 and passed away peacefully at her home on September 5th 2025.

Andrea cherished her 'feathered loved ones' Ren and Joey who brought her great joy and laughter.

A huge void will be left from Andrea's passing.  She will always be missed and remembered by cousins Pamela, Darryl (Donna) Patterson, Mike Magee of Utah, and her many loving nieces and nephews, as well as Andrea's "Brothers from another mother", Bill Minna and Gord Brown and many close friends.

Andrea was predeceased by her longest and closest friend, her dear Donna Lacey.

A fashion dream, a beauty queen, Andrea knew how to capture a scene!  And Andrea was at ease with people from all walks of life, this was one of her many lovely qualities as was her unwavering compassion for all animals.

As a Regulatory Affairs Associate, Andrea enjoyed a devoted career with Bayer Inc. for many decades.

Andrea's biggest passions in life were horses; rock n roll; fast cars; and of course, Don Johnson!  At a young age, she rode her own horse, performed dressage, jumping and together she and Donna were regular "stable rats". Throughout her life, Andrea expressed her passion for horses as a member of the Canadian Horseracing Hall of Fame and the LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society, where she recently became a Director. Her adventurous life continued with rock n roll, and when that wasn't loud enough for her, she added race cars, by promoting and directing Indy car driver, Paul Tracey!
