It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ana Kapusin, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 14, 2023 at her home in Oakville, at the age of 99.
Ana, predeceased by her husband, Nikola (1989), was the beloved mother of Ivan (Dragica), Marica Cody (the late Frank), Janko (Ljubica), Barica and Vera Sajko (Julijan). She will be lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Ana was born in Vivodina, Croatia and immigrated to Canada in the 1970's. Ana was a pillar of strength and the true matriarch of her family. She was full of energy and brought light and laughter to anyone that crossed her path. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of the Croatian community. She loved to read and spend time outside in nature whenever possible. Ana devoted her life to taking care of her family. She will be missed immensely.

Visitation will be held on Thursday November 16, 2023 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block East of Kerr Street) Oakville from 5 pm – 9 pm. Parish prayers at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday November 17, 2023 at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville at 10 am. Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
