On August 23, peacefully, with her devoted and loving husband (of 26 years) Velimir by her side. Ana released her spirit with grace at Sheridan Villa after a lengthy convalescence with Altzeimers. Ana will be remembered fondly for her love of life, love of gardening, love of music (angelic soprano voice), her most radiant smile and the most special relationship she shared with the joy of her life - her husband Velimir – a love story witnessed by all who were privileged to share their life journey with them.

Ana was born in the village of Donja Voća, Croatia, on February 13, 1953 and immigrated to Canada in 1971. Her vibrant personality brought much joy to the members of the various organizations to which she belonged – namely Estrada, Koralji and the Canadian Croatian Choral Society. As Quality Control Supervisor at Depco International she guided her colleagues with integrity and respect.

Ana was predeceased by her parents Franjo Patrčević and Slavica (Martan) along with her siblings - Dragica, Angelika, Stijepan and Vlado. Ana leaves behind her children- daughter Lucy and son Nikola (Nancy) – whom she always carried lovingly in her heart and her granddaughters Mila and Daniella. Her spirit will be ever present in the lives of her living siblings in Canada, Croatia and Austria, namely, Stefica Komes (+Josip), Anđela Korenički (+Predrag), Slava (Franc) Hofstatter, Franc (Marica) Patrčević and Barbara (Josip) Cvetnic. Ana will fondly be remembered by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and numerous friends in Canada, Croatia and Austria.

A special thank you to the administration, staff, nurses and PSW's of Sheridan Villa for the compassion, caring and emotional support over the past four years.
