Peacefully with his family by his side in his 86th year. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Nora Jarrett; his wife, Shirley Machum; his partner, Betty MacNeill; and his sister, Betty Armstrong. He is survived by his four daughters and their spouses: Sue & John Raynor; Marg & Lem Tamm; Jan & Pete Engbers; Anne & Rick Vernon; and nine grandchildren: Jeremy (Nancy), Jason, Jennifer (Sam), Sean (Natalie) Sarah, Christopher, Ryan(Stacy), Stacey(Nick) and Heather(Bill); as well as five great grandchildren: Conor, Liam, Malachi, Hannah and Cory. Also survived by his siblings: Douglas Jarrett and Min Elliott; as well as many nieces and nephews. Al will be dearly missed by his special friend Misty. Al lived to sail!
