Peacefully on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at West Oak Village, Oakville in his 95th year. Alfred, beloved husband of the late Greta. Loved father of Brenda (Tom Bartu) and David. Beloved grandfather of Susanne, Lisa, Amy, Greg, Cory, Cody and Kristin. Great-grandfather of Jayden, Owen and Cole. Dear friend of Helen. Alfred retired from the TTC and was a longtime member of the Oakville and New Toronto Lawn Bowling Clubs. He will be greatly missed by many family members in England. Funeral service will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville in the Chapel on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11am with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Fund would be appreciated by the family.
