It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing at home of Alana Katharine Jackson on December 21, 2023, at the age of 49 years. Cherished daughter of Martha (Jackson) Schuman and the late Alan Thomas Jackson and stepdaughter of Dr. John Edward Schuman. Dear sister of Sean Jackson (Barbara Sexsmith), their children, Elise and Ian Jackson, and dear sister of Christopher Jackson (Cheryl Lee). Alana was the beloved goddaughter of Joanne Peterson.

Alana loved the outdoors, especially walking in the forests and valleys, enjoying sightings of wildlife. She loved the flowers of the gardens and wildflowers, and avidly counted butterflies. Alana was a talented artist from a young age, Snoopy remained the love of her life. Her smile lit up the room. Full of love and warmth. Greeting all she saw.

Family and friend are invited to pay their respects at the visitation being held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville, Tuesday January 9th from 4 pm - 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds St., Oakville, Wednesday January 10th at 11 am. Refreshments to follow in the Parish Center.
