With his family by his side at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, Alan peacefully passed away. Beloved son of Agnes and Bill McEwan. Amazing brother to Jennifer & husband Nick (Davero), Catherine (Mike). Wonderful uncle to Hannah and Isabella, nephew to Jennifer & Bill Paul, Marion & John Barbeau and Flo McInnes. Will also be missed by his Gran and family in Scotland and by many great friends. Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, September 11th, 2011 from 1pm-4pm at the Burloak Canoe Club. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
