Passed away peacefully at Sunrise Retirement Home on Thursday, May 28, 2015, surrounded by family after an extended hospital stay, at the age of 90. Agnes was born in Saerbeck, West Germany, the youngest of 9 children. Predeceased by her husband, Josef. She is survived by and dearly loved by her children, Joseph (Karen), Maria (Walter) and Wolfgang (Tamara) as well as her grandchildren, David, Mark, Shelby, Conrad, Simon and Madeleine, her niece Beate (Andrew), great nieces and nephews Lea, Emma, Gabriel and Janosch and many other special nieces and nephews in Germany. Agnes was admired for her work ethic, her quiet, calm presence and her devotion to faith, family and friends. Many thanks to the staff at Sunrise and OTMH for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (905-844-2600 one block east of Kerr St.) from 7-9pm Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Dominic Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca St., Oakville at 10am on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
