It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Adelaide Snider McLuhan at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on Thursday, March 10, 2022, with loved ones by her side. Devoted and loving wife of the late Maurice McLuhan. Beloved sister of Helen, Violet and the late Irene and Thomas. Loving and admired Aunt to many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Adelaide will always be remembered for her love of travel and gardening and her kindness and compassion toward others.  She gave generously of her time, volunteering for over 40 years in the gift shop at the Oakville Hospital and was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Oakville. Adelaide cherished the time she spent with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family is thankful to the staff at Sunrise of Oakville for the excellent care that she received during her residence with them.

A private service will be held.

In memory of Adelaide, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario , Knox Presbyterian Church , Oakville or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
