It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Abel Pais Pessoa on Thursday, August 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and his devoted wife of 59 years, Maria Pessoa.

Abel will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the love he shared with his family and friends. While our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the many memories he leaves behind and for the peaceful manner in which he passed.

Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Abel’s life.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West,(one block East of Kerr Street) Oakville. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM.

For those unable to attend in person, a recording of the service will be posted here following the Celebration of Life.
